2017 – 2018 PRSA Golf Open

The Puerto Rico Shipping Association recently presented a check for $30,000 to the Puerto Rico Down Syndrome Foundation, representing the net proceeds from our Annual Golf Tournament that was held on March 2, 2018 at Palmas Del Mar  Athletic Club.  According to the organizers, 140 golfers participated in the tournament, one of the most successful years yet from the organization. Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers and players for coming out and helping us raise money and awareness for a great local organization.

PRSA Fundraising at Port Side

The PR Shipping Association, Caribbean Shipping Association and Port Side celebrated a fundraising event called “ Paella Dinner Fundraiser”.

The proceeds from this event and the donations from the Puerto Rico and The Caribbean Shipping Association were distributed between three elderly homes, impacted by hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

The elderly homes that received these donations were: Hogar Sustituto Awilda Figueroa, Hogar Casa Feliz & Hogar Envejecientes Sibary.
